Tesla faces more claims of firing workers for union organizing. Six Tesla workers at their Buffalo, NY plant recently filed charges with the National Labor Relations Board for the firings. The charges also include allegations of illegal surveillance.
In March 2019, Tesla had to post flyers outlining workers’ rights to organize as part of a NLRB settlement over previous union busting charges.
Last year, I reported several cases of workers being fired for union organizing, including one case where a Tesla supervisor admitted to being directed by his superiors to change a union organizer’s performance review scores to justify termination.
